The Presets popup menu allows you to save and restore various combinations of color reduction parameters under meaningful names. NOTE: the last used settings are always loaded when the dialog box is first displayed.
This selection is automatically chosen when the current parameters have been altered by the user but have not been saved. Explicitly choosing this selection will not affect the parameters in any way.
This selection initializes the parameters to their default settings. Note that the default Palette mode is Adaptive.
This selection saves the current parameter settings in the HVS ColorGIF preferences file. The names of saved settings can later be chosen from the bottom of the list. Note that only the name of the current palette shown in the Palette Menu is saved, not the palette itself. To save a palette as part of a preset, you must be sure to save the current palette via the Palette Menu before saving your preset. This will ensure that the same palette will be loaded the next time you select your saved preset.
This selection deletes a preset from the preferences file. Note that the accompanying palette specified in the preset is not deleted. To delete the palette you must choose Delete from the Palette Menu.
